Let us look back with pride at our achievements over the past 100 years across the world and look forward to future further service to all our own communities, not just local, not just our Districts but wherever there is a need there will be a Lion.

and see the history and glamour of this fine old building. Well, it is not that old but it is at least 10 years older than me. However, perhaps unlike me, it has been modernised inside but still preserves the splendour and grandiose nature of its position in society. This will hold the Convention Business sessions and the agora displays and the MDHQ shop during the day on Saturday and Sunday morning with the Banquet and Ball Saturday evening.

The Brangwyn is located just minutes away from the beautiful sweep of Swansea Bay. Just a short distance along the bay is the Convention Hotel, the Marriott, where the Host Night will be held.

There are many other hotels and guest houses within easy walking or driving distance of the Host Night hotel and the Conference Centre and Banquet and Ball. I know many Districts like to choose their own hotels and even come together by coach. For the Friday Host-night the Marriott has a large car park, free to residents and event participants. There are several car parks at and near the Brangwyn and The Brangwyn Hall itself car parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays. Please display your Lion car sticker.

Catering for Saturday night is provided by Wales’ premier catering company so do have a look at www.jr-catering.co.uk.

Details of the social event meals are on the booking forms and remember to say if you have any special dietary requirements.
